Great, clean rooms with an imperial touch. Location in Vienna downtown is awesome, close to all highlights, subway 5 min walking distance away. But the service is just above and beyond: all staff, front desk, breakfast, janitors, all super friendly and accommodating! Excellent breakfast as well! My highest appreciation and recommendation.
Lovely place, very authentic rooms, very well trained staff. It's in the city center, not even 5 min from the Stephansplatz. Close to the metro. Great experience.
It's an old building with a lot of history, so have to take that into account. Location is walking distance to many great historical places. Staff very friendly and good breakfast.

It is a horrible, old, outdated hotel. Rooms are in a very bad shape, wallpaper is peeling off on the walls, ceilings are cracked, furniture, carpet are 100 years old- at least that is what it looks like . Carpet is horrible, i don’t feel like i want to step my foot on it without slippers.
Mini bar has 4 bottles of coke/sprite….pillows are flat. NO AIR CONDITIONER!!

Don’t pay attention to the pic on the website- the front of the hotel is not what they show, it has nothing to do with this hotel- it’s from the next door building picture.
This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are extremely worn out and dated. The carpets should have been replaced 20 years ago. It was very hot and humid during our trip and the lack of AC was a big problem. There was absolutely no air flow from the single window that faced the internal courtyard. I have seen better and bigger bathrooms in motorhomes. It's quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. None of the pictures match what we experienced. The man at the front desk was not at all friendly and he gave us a mountain of paperwork to fill out at check-in, even though we had already provided all of the information when we booked online. We gave up after 1 night and left for a better hotel.
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location. Everything else was awful.
